Our nursery ministry provides childcare during our worship services. At Second Byron, we understand that children are a precious treasure. At our church, your children’s safety and well-being are of our great priority. Our facilities are clean and well maintained, and all of our volunteers undergo a background screening and approval process.
Infant and Toddler Nursery
Our infant and toddler nursery is for ages 0-24 months. Your children will be cared for and shown the love of Jesus while you worship.
2 and 3 Year Olds
Our 2 and 3 year olds spend each week engaging in dynamic curriculum that begins teaching them about God and his word. We sing praise songs, read Bible stories and complete crafts.
We invite our children ages 4 and up to worship with their parents in the main service on Sunday Morning.
GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. It is a program designed for girls aged 3rd grade – 8th grade.

Cadets is a ministry for boys 3rd grade – 8th grade. The basis and vision of the Cadets is based off of the Word of God and also the main confessions of the Reformed church that reflect the truths of scripture.
The Calvinist Cadet Corps is the ministry of men of God who are dedicated to bring boys into a living relationship with their Lord and Savior. These men, understanding their imperfection, hold on to the promise that the Lord will bless their prayers, their example, and their instruction if they rely on God’s strength.
Every Tuesday, 6:30-8:30 PM

(Middle School Youth Group)
21 is designed to help each middle school student (6th-8th grade) know, experience and share the love of God. We journey together to accomplish this goal by serving, growing, learning, playing and spending time in community with one another at events and Bible studies.
When: 21 consists of one fun event a month where we go to various venues, usually on the second Saturday. We also do a Bible study once a month after the youth service, Connecting Point, on the fourth Sunday.
(High School Youth Group)
Thrive is designed to help each student know, experience and share the love of God. We journey together to accomplish this goal by serving, growing, learning, playing and spending time in community with one another at events and Bible studies.
When: Large group is held with exceptions on the first Sunday of the month. Small groups meet the third Sunday of the month to dig into the Word. If there is a fifth Sunday in the month, there is a large group movie night.
Youth Group Purpose: We seek to challenge teens in grades 9-12 to live Christ-centered lives, discover and use their gifts for meeting the needs of others as we enjoy life in Christ together, celebrating our God and sharing the Good News.
